What effect do hurting religious sentiment have on a teacher's academic freedom?

Hriday Mondal is a teacher at Binodpur Ram Kumar High School. For the past 22 years he's been teaching maths and science here. But now the education system has him in jail. The school's headmaster Alauddin Ahmed mentioned that on March 20 students were asking Hriday general questions but the next day 10 to 12 had gone to him and brought allegations of blasphemy against the science teacher. The headmaster had temporarily suspended Hriday over the allegations.
