The World Bank is offering $358 million or almost Tk 3,000 crore to make the roads safer. Primarily the two highways from Gazipur to Elenga - NH4 and from Natore to Nawabganj - NH6 will be getting the funding to ensure safety. The World Bank is hoping that this will decrease road accident related deaths by 30%. How exactly will the World Bank's Tk 3,000 crore be spent?
