Busy season for sari weavers but business still down

Weavers from Tangail, Pabna and Sirajganj suffered immensely the past 2 years because of the pandemic. But they've been very busy during Ramadan this year. Meanwhile, the cost of production has increased due to the increase in the price of raw materials. But compared to that, business has been slow. However, the work of weaving sari of various designs is going on every day.
