The results of the T20Is stood in stark contrast in terms of margins of victory after Afghanistan won the second T20I at Sher-e-Bangla national Stadium today to share the spoils with Bangladesh. Bangladesh called up opener Munim Shahriar for the T20I series against Afghanistan, following his performances in the recently-concluded BPL. In social media yesterday, Bangladesh batting coach Jamie Siddons complimented the key performers of the Tigers in the second one-dayer against Afghanistan, played on Friday in Chattogram.

Batting coach Jamie Siddons had been watching ODI captain Tamim Iqbal closely for the last few days during Bangladesh practice. In Bangladesh’s optional practice on Thursday, he kept a close eye on Tamim’s work at the nets and had discussed a few things he noted. Following today’s practice session at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium, Jamie was available to talk to the media and talked about some of the things he saw from Tamim.
