Kings exit AFC Cup after 1-1 draw against Mohun Bagan

Bashundhara Kings bowed out from the group stages of the AFC Cup following a 1-1 draw against ATK Mohun Bagan in their last Group D match at the Male National Stadium in the Maldives today.

The Bangladesh champions finished the group in second position with five points as the ISL outfit sealed the lone spot in the Inter-Zone semifinals with seven points.

Jonathan Fernandes gave Bashundhara Kings the lead in the 28th minute but the Kings, who played the second half with 10 men following Shushanto Tripura's sending off, conceded the crucial equaliser through David Williams in the 62nd minute.
