Farhaan, Shamit, Sohel join squad in Jakarta

The remaining three members of the Bangladesh football team joined the squad in Jakarta, completing the contingent ahead of the FIFA ASEAN Cup, which kicks off on September 25.
Farhaan Ali Wahid, the Boreham Wood winger, joined the team late on Monday night, following the arrival of Hamza Choudhury, the biggest star in the squad.
Shamit Shome, whose connecting flight from Canada was delayed due to a typhoon in Japan, reached Jakarta this morning, while Bashundhara Kings midfielder Sohel Rana Jr also joined the team on Tuesday morning after visa issues prevented him from travelling with the squad.
Meanwhile, the team had to abandon their scheduled training session on Monday because of heavy traffic in Jakarta, sources told The Daily Star.
Bangladesh will play their first match against Malaysia on September 25.
