Ctg Abahani and Mohammedan play out a stalemate

Mohammedan Sporting Club came from behind to draw 2-2 against Chattogram Abahani in a Bangladesh Premier League encounter at the Bangabandhu National Stadium today.

Charles Didier gave the port city outfit a six-minute lead before Jafar Iqbal equalised in the 22nd minute.

Two minutes later, Chinede Mathew restored the lead only to be cancelled out by an Amir Hakim Bappy strike 14 minutes into the second half. 

With the fifth draw, Chattogram Abahani raised their points tally to 41 from 23 matches, one point ahead of the fifth-placed Mohammedan, who played a match less than Ctg Abahani.
