Tigers in Harare
Following transits in Doha and Johannesburg, the Bangladesh national team reached Harare today morning to play a full series against hosts Zimbabwe.
The Tigers reached Harare at 9:20 PM Zimbabwe time and will rest today (Wednesday) before participating in their first practice session on Thursday, July 1. Newly appointed batting and spin consultants Rangana Herath and Ashwell Prince, joined the squad in Doha and Johannesburg respectively.
Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and opening batsman Shadman Islam will join the side at Harare later today. Pace bowling coach Ottis Gibson will head directly to Zimbabwe from England.
The Tigers will play a two-day warm-up match on July 3 before the lone Test commences on July 7. Following a warm-up match on July 14th, the three ODIs are scheduled to be played on July 16, 18 and 20 respectively. The first of the three T20Is will be played on July 23rd followed by the second and third T20Is on July 25 and 27 respectively.
