Shakib becomes player with most wickets in ODIs for Bangladesh

Bangladesh premier all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan became the player with most wickets for Bangladesh in ODIs when he scalped the crucial wicket of Zimbabwe skipper Brendan Taylor during the two sides' first ODI at the Harare Sports Club today. 

Shakib reached the milestone in the 15th over when Taylor tried to slog sweep but was only able to get a top edge on it. Taskin Ahmed at short fine leg took a simple catch as Taylor walked back after a 31-ball 24. 

Taylor's wicket was Shakib's 270th scalp in ODIs as he surpassed former Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, who has 269 wickets in 218 ODIs in Bangladesh colors. Shakib reached the milestone in his 213th ODI for Bangladesh.
