Josh Inglis out of South Africa ODIs with finger fracture
Australia wicketkeeper batter Josh Inglis has been ruled out of the remaining ODIs against South Africa. Inglis sustained a fracture in his right index finger during South Africa’s batting innings in the first ODI in Durban.
He batted with the injury to score three runs as Australia lost the first ODI by 67 runs.
Inglis recently scored his second ODI century against Zimbabwe that helped Australia cross the line in a closely fought tussle in Harare.
His participation in the upcoming three-match World Test Championship series against the Proteas is in doubt, pending further evaluation.
