BD U-19 set to host Afghan counterpart in September

Afghanistan Under-19 side are set to tour Bangladesh for five one-dayers and one four-day match, scheduled to be played in Sylhet from September 5, informed the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) today. 

"Afghanistan Under-19 side will arrive in the country on August 31. They will be playing five one-dayers and one four-day game against the Bangladesh Under-19 side in September.

"Bangladesh will start their camp for the upcoming series in Sylhet on August 16. We are planning to have all the matches in Sylhet," said BCB game development manager Abu Emam Mohammad Kawsar.

This is the Under-19 side's first assignment since the previous batch led by Akbar Ali won the Under-19 World Cup by beating India in Potchefstroom in February 2020.
