The China Study Tour is an intensive week-and-a-half long course in Chinese language and culture. The study tour is open to all Eastern University (EU) students who have good academic record and are involved in extracurricular activities.

A group of eight students and two officials from EU visited China from May 20 to 31 2015. During the visit, students had to take part in classes on language and culture. Yunnan Open University also organised a cultural programme to honour the visiting team where EU students also performed.
