Ford Mustang ecoboost: finally coming to Bangladesh?

The Ford Mustang Ecoboost is a mouth-watering prospect for Bangladesh - an iconic muscle car, turbo power, small displacement and thus low import duties? Why would it not be?

The Ecoboost motor powering the entry level Mustang is "only" a 2.3 litre 4 cylinder turbo motor, and while on paper it might not seem like anything to be happy about next to the V8 motors in the 'Stang range, the 4 cylinder motor still puts out a hefty 310 HP and 320 lb-ft of torque. Combined with a Getrag manual transmission (or auto with paddle shifters) and RWD, the Ecoboost will certainly present a challenge to local enthusiasts.

Will it happen? Ford's authorised dealers, AG Motors, has hinted on several occasions that a Mustang Ecoboost on the showroom floor in Bangladesh is definitely a realistic prospect. What about the price? We'd have to get back to you on that, but expect it to be a bargain. Because Mustang.
