He was talking to reporters while inspecting the progress of construction works of Bhulta flyover in Narayanganj this noon.

Reiterating his party’s stance over the upcoming national polls, Quader said the next general election will be held under the supervision the current Election Commission.

“Besides, our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will continue her routing work during the election,” Quader, also road transport and bridges minister, said.

The home ministry and other state organs will discharges their duties under the supervision of the Election Commission, Quader said.

So, BNP have nothing to be feared or no alternative but to take part in the upcoming general election, the minister added.

About the proposed national budget, Quader said the government will not take any decision that will hurt the people.
