Khaleda to unveil ‘vision 2030’ on May 10

BNP standing committee member Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain today said that his party chief Khaleda Zia would unveil her “vision 2030” on May 10, to take the country to a new height.

She (Khaleda) will also come up with a formal proposal later about “formation of the election-time supportive government” for holding the next general election in a free, fair and credible manner, he said.

Without clarifying the “vision 2030” and “formation of the election-time”, Mosharraf said BNP will speed up the country’s overall development and progress if it comes to power in the next general election.

“BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will unveil her vision 2030 on May 10 to make her efforts successful,” Mosharraf said while addressing his party’s workers council in Chittagong this afternoon.

About the prevailing “debates between government and judiciary”, Mosharraf said, “All civil administrations in the country have been politicised deliberately”.

Talking about the present Election Commission, he said, “We are dubious about the impartial and credible role of all election commissioners including the chief election commissioner.”

Despite this, the present election commission will be forced to hold the next general election in a credible manner if it is held under a polls-time supportive administration, he added.

About the deals and agreements signed recently with India, he also called upon the government to make those public.

People will not accept any unknown deal or agreement, he said adding that the accords will be scrapped if BNP comes to power in future.
