Khaleda hosts iftar party in honor of diplomats

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia attended an iftar party with diplomats from different countries stationed at Dhaka this evening.

The iftar party was hosted at Hotel Westin in Gulshan-2 with the participation of several ambassadors and high commissioners of different countries and representatives of different international organisations.

Prior to the iftar, Khaleda, also a former prime minister, exchanged pleasantries and views with the diplomats.

A munajat was offered before breaking the fast seeking peace, progress and prosperity of the country and its people.

Ambassadors, High Commissioners, charge d' affaires of different countries including USA, UK, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Qatar, Iran, Egypt, Palestine, Turkey, China, Japan, EU, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Norway, Spain, South Korea and Sweden attended the iftar party.

BNP senior leaders including its standing committee members, vice chairmen and members of her advisory council and a good number of leaders and activists of the party also attended the iftar party.
