Yaba seized, 4 held in Cox's Bazaar

Border Guard Bangladesh on Friday arrested four drug dealers and seized 10,680 pieces of yaba tablets from their possession at Ramu upazila in Cox's Bazar.
A team of BGB took position at Moriccha on Teknaf-Cox's Bazaar highway after receiving information that a truck from Cox’s Bazar carrying a consignment of yaba tablets, reports our Cox's Bazar correspondent.
They stopped the vehicle and arrested the smugglers and seized the tablets and 100 sacks of betel-nuts, said Lt Col Md Khalid Hasan, commanding officer of 17 BGB.
BGB detained the four smugglers.
A case has been filed at Ramu Police Station.
