United Commercial Bank unveils two new cards

United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) has launched two new premium cards -- the UCB Visa Infinite Card and the UCB Mastercard World Elite -- aiming to enhance its high-end customer offerings.

Sharif Zahir, chairman of United Commercial Bank PLC, inaugurated the cards during the UCB Night programme, held at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

Addressing the gathering, Zahir said, “With what we have built over four decades, Insha’Allah, and with your continued support, we will be able to achieve even greater success over the next four years.”

Designed with a premium look and equipped with a range of advanced benefits, the newly launched cards reflect UCB’s commitment to elevating customer experience and service standards.

Mohammed Mamdudur Rashid, managing director and chief executive officer of UCB, said the bank remains focused on long-term sustainability.

“Our priorities are clear: stability first, then trust, and finally sustainable growth,” he said.

The event was attended by senior officials from Bangladesh Bank, the National Board of Revenue and other regulatory bodies, alongside policymakers, business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from both the public and private sectors.
