Separate pay structure for BB, SOBs
The government is going to introduce separate pay structure for Bangladesh Bank and state-owned commercial banks in the next fiscal year.
"Such separate pay structure may have to be fixed for other services," Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Thursday said while presenting the national budget for fiscal 2013-14.
He told the House that the government would constitute a Permanent Commission next year which will be tasked with providing recommendations to the government from time to time on the issue relating to pay structure.
The commission may recommend salary adjustment commensurate with inflation and also address the issue of salary discrepancies, Muhith added.
