Reshuffle in police admin

In a reshuffle in the police administration, the government on Sunday transferred 14 top police officials to different metropolis, units and ranges. Of them, Md Shamsuddin, commissioner of Barisal Metropolitan Police (BMP), was made commissioner of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) while KMP commissioner Md Shafiqur Rahman was given the same post of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP). On the other hand, CMP Commissioner Shafiqul Islam was given the charge of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) while RMG Commissioner SM Monir-uz-Zaman was made the deputy inspector general (DIG) of Khulna range. Acting DIG of Criminal Investigation Department Shaibal Kanti Chowdhury was made the BMP commissioner, police headquarters.
