NRB Bank holds annual business conference

NRB Bank PLC held its “Annual Business Conference 2026” at the Gulshan Club Limited in Dhaka on Saturday.

Iqbal Ahmed, chairman of NRB Bank PLC, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest, according to a press release.

Tarek Reaz Khan, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, presided over the event.

The conference reviewed the bank’s performance over the past year and discussed strategic action plans to achieve the 2026 targets.

Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, chairman of the executive committee; AKM Mizanur Rahman, chairman of the audit committee; Shaikh Md Salim, chairman of the risk management committee; and Ferdous Ara Begum, SK Matiur Rahman and Prof Sharif Nurul Ahkam, independent directors, attended the event.

Md Shaheen Howlader, Md Ali Akbar Faraji, Anwar Uddin and M Rashidul Huda, deputy managing directors, along with the senior management team and all branch managers and heads of divisions and departments, were also present.
