Muggers shot and stabbed a student of Dhaka College and snatched away his motorbike from the Mohakhali Flyover Thursday morning.
Abdur Rob, 25, a master's student of Economics Department of the college, is now out of danger.
A group of three muggers put barricade over the flyover with their private car when Rob was on his way to Uttara.
As soon as Rob stopped his motorbike around 6:00am, the miscreants fired two rounds on him and also stabbed him indiscriminately.
At one stage of stabbing, Rob lost his little finger.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, said Apurbo Ahsan, officer in-charge of Tejgaon Police Station.
