A woman died after being hit by a falling branch of a tree at Lohagar upazila of Narail this (October 24, 2022) noon caused by speedy wind as the Cyclone Sitrang is heading towards Bangladesh.

Cyclone Sitrang, currently located around 495 kilometre South-Southwest of Payra port and advancing towards the coast at a speed of 15 km, will cross between Barishal and Chattogram near Khepupara by tomorrow (October 25, 2022) morning, the met office said.
