Criminals stabbed a 22-year-old man to death in the capital’s Tejgaon area yesterday.

A man was killed and another seriously injured in an alleged gunfight during a Rapid Action Battalion’s anti-drug drive in Barishal yesterday evening.

Police arrested 48 leaders and activists of the Awami League and its affiliated bodies, including banned Chhatra League, over the last two days following a series of flash processions in Dhaka and Khulna cities.
