Its Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Zahir Alam Khan and Company Commander Major Billal played the key role in ceasing the house of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the fateful night of March 26, 1971.

Three shot dead in Jhenidah
Three persons were gunned down by some armed miscreants at village Bazargopalpur of Jhenidah Sadar Upazila Sunday evening. Jhenidah Thana sources said Khalilur Rahman (27).
