Dhaka roads that’ll be closed to traffic tomorrow

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will restrict traffic movement on Hatirjheel and adjacent areas for seven hours -- from 4:00am -- tomorrow for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon-2022.

DMP has requested commuters in Dhaka to avoid roads in Hatirjheel and take alternative routes during the period.

Similar restrictions will be in force on the way from Bangladesh Army Stadium-Kakoli-Gulshan-2-Gulshan-1 to Hatirjheel when the marathon participants will start from the stadium.

However, these roads will reopen for all soon after the marathon passes through. 

DMP's Traffic Division sought commuters' cooperation to maintain traffic discipline during the marathon.
