Won't let BNP create unrest: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today warned that BNP would not be spared if it tries to resort to anarchy on October 28.

"The Awami League will allow BNP to hold its rally on October 28 if the party does not try to create chaos in the country on that day," said Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister.

He came up with the remarks while speaking at an extended meeting of Dhaka south city unit of AL held at the party's Bangabandhu Avenue central office in the capital.

The AL general secretary said BNP's dream of Dhaka siege will fall flat, alleging that they (BNP leaders) are now out to destroy the country's democracy.
