Khaleda exempted from court hearing

A Dhaka court yesterday exempted BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia from personal appearance for the hearing on the Gatco graft case.

Judge Muhammad Ali Hussain of Dhaka's Special Judge's Court-3 issued the order in response to a petition that said Khaleda, now out of jail following an executive order from the government, is unwell and cannot commute.

The next hearing is on March 13.
