BNP writes to ACC seeking probe into ‘ruling party, govt corruption’

BNP has written a letter to Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) demanding investigation into the "corruption of the ruling party and the government".

A delegation led by BNP Joint General Secretary Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal submitted the letter to the ACC at the latter's headquarters in Dhaka around 1:20pm today.

BNP chairperson's press wing member Syrul Kabir Khan confirmed the development to The Daily Star.

"Apart from Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, BNP assistant office secretary Saiful Islam Tipu was in the delegation. When they return, a copy of the letter will be sent to the media," he said.
