Mawlana Bhashani University forms new committee of Bangabandhu Society

A new committee of Bangabandhu Society has been formed in Tangail's Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU).

As the term of the previous body has expired, the new committee has been approved by Dr SA Malek, general secretary of the Central Committee of Bangabandhu Society, according to a press release of MBSTU.

All the members of the newly formed Bangabandhu Society, MBSTU unit will work shoulder to shoulder to strengthen the hand of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to build a Golden Bangladesh in the spirit of Bangabandhu's ideology and great liberation war, said the press release.

The newly-formed executive committee members are: President Dr Muhammad Shahin Uddin; five Vice Presidents -- Dr Muhammad Omar Faruk, Md Babul Hossain, Dr Utpal Kumar Prodhan, Md Azizul Hoque, and Md Abul Kashem Liton -- ; General Secretary Md Nazmul Islam; Treasurer Dr Syed Moudud-Ul-Huq; Joint Secretary Dr Shimul Roy; Cultural Secretary Khan Md Murtaja Reza Linkon; Publication Secretary Dr Md Nazmus Sadekin; Office Secretary ASM Delowar Hossain; and Publicity Secretary Md Ishtiaq Ahmed Talukder.
