Water transport to operate for 8 days from July 15

Water transport service will operate for eight days from July 15, 12am onwards, across the country.

Water transport will continue till 6:00am on July 23.

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority issued a gazette notification in this regard today.

The service (launch, speedboat, trawler and others) will be suspended again from July 23 morning to August 5 midnight.

The development came following a decision taken by the government to ease strict lockdown from July 15 for the next eight days.
