SCBA election: Scuffles between pro-AL and BNP lawyers again

Pro-AL lawyers and pro-BNP lawyers once again locked in a clash during the Supreme Court Bar Association election today.

The scuffle began outside the polling centre around 4:00pm and continued for around 40 minutes, while voting ended at 5:00pm.

Another clash took place earlier around noon.

However, there was no police involvement in during today's incidents.

Lawyers at the premises are still chanting slogans against each other, our staff correspondent reports.
