Probe body formed over “communal issue” in HSC question

A probe committee has been formed to investigate the allegation brought against five identified persons who were "involved in making and editing the HSC Bangla first part exam's question" which hurt religious sentiments of Hindus.

Jashore Education Board formed the committee today (November 8, 2022), the board Chairman Prof Ahsan Habib confirmed the development to The Daily Star.

The three-member committee will be headed by Jashore Education Board Inspector of College KM Rabbani.

The probe body will have to submit the report in three to seven working days.

"After getting the report, we will take further steps," Prof Ahsan Habib said.

Earlier in the day, five persons of Jashore Education Board were identified in this connection.
