Physically challenged girl raped in Patuakhali

A physically challenged minor girl was raped allegedly by a teenage boy in Patuakhali's Baufal upazila on Friday.

According to locals, the victim shared her experience with her mother after the incident.

On information, locals placed four suspects in front of her and she identified the teenage boy.

Members of Baufal Police Station later went to the spot and detained the accused.

The victim was sent to Patuakhali Medical College Hospital for medical tests and treatment, said Al Mamun, OC of the police station.
