UP member candidate’s body found

Police yesterday recovered the body of a UP member candidate, from near a waterbody of Nalbhanga village in Jhenaidah's Kaliganj upazila.

Md Pir Ali, 37, was defeated in a recent UP polls to Kashtabhanga union.

Police sources said his body bore rope marks on the throat.
