Fire at Puran Dhaka’s Decent Bakery brought under control

A fire that broke out at Decent Bakery in Puran Dhaka's Alu Bazar area this evening was brought under control.

Seven units of firefighters brought the blaze under control around 8:18pm, reports our staff correspondent quoting Kamrul Hasan, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.

There were no casualties, the official said.

The fire broke out in the tin-shed bakery around 8:00pm, said Kamrul.

On information, the firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control, the official said.

The reason behind the fire could not be known yet, he added.
