Fire breaks out at fabrics market in Gazipur

A fire broke out at a wholesale fabrics market at Chandna intersection of Gazipur city last night.

Six firefighting units are working on to douse the fire that broke out at the market around 10:30pm, Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defence in Gazipur told The Daily Star.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he said.

There have been no casualties reported.
