APBn man killed in Chattogram road accident

An assistant sub-inspector of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) died in a road accident in Sholoshahar area in Chattogram city today.

The deceased was identified as Masudur Rahman, 50, of Naogaon district.

He was attached to the APBn in Chattogram.

Sub-inspector Nurul Alam Ashek, in-charge of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH), said a motorbike carrying ASI Masudur was hit by a truck at Sholoshahar Gate No 2, leaving him critically injured.

He was rushed to the hospital's emergency ward, where doctors declared him dead, said the SI.

The body was kept at the CMCH morgue.
