'SUPERGIRL' rumoured to get her standalone film

Many were skeptical when Melissa Benoist took up the moniker of Superman's biological cousin, Supergirl. The actor has since silenced her critics with her near-perfect portrayal of the Krypton-born superhero, making the blue girl-scout popular among the youth. Reportedly, a film about the superhero is being penned by Oren Uziel as we speak. However, it is not confirmed whether Melissa will reprise her role as Supergirl in the upcoming film.
