Man kills son 'by mistake'
A four-year-old boy was killed allegedly by his father at Paschim Rajapur village in Shoronkhola upazila on Monday.
The hapless boy was idetified as Suman, son of Rubel Fakir of the village.
Suman's mother Masuma Akther alleged that her husband threw a stick at her at one stage of quarrel between them over making bread in the morning.
Suman, who was on his mother's lap, was hit by the stick.
Critically injured, he was rushed to Sadar Hospital the where doctors declared him dead.
Police arrested Rubel, 25, from the hospital premises while he was fleeing away hearing the death news of his son, said Asaduzzaman, in-charge at Sadar Hospital police outpost.
