BSF picks up three Bangladeshis
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) yesterday picked up three Bangladeshis from near the zero line on Sonarhat border in Gowainghat upazila.
A Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) official said the three might have mistakenly stepped into the zero line.
Two of them are Moulana Habibulla from Brahmanbaria and Moulana Sohel Ahmed of Gowainghat.
BGB Commanding Officer Lt Col Md Shafiul Azam told The Daily Star, "We inquired about the incident and asked BSF to return them immediately." BSF replied that they would inform BGB of the matter later, he said.
