25 kids food poisoned
Twenty-five students of a primary school in Mongla upazila of the district fell sick after eating flattened rice (chira) on Saturday. Of the sick students, 21 were admitted to Mongla upazila health complex. Sources said, the students of Battala Registered Primary School had bought the flattened rice from a grocery shop during tiffin period. Dr. Abdullahil Galif, resident medical officer atMongla upazila health complex, said that the students were food poisoned.
