College boy abducted
Criminals abducted a college student from Sheikhpara Bazar area under Shailkupa upazila on Saturday afternoon.
The victim, Sohel Rana, 20, son of Harun-ur-Rashid of Ananda Nagar village, is a student of BA at Sheikhpara DM College.
He also ran a tea stall in the bazar to bear his education cost, said family members.
Rana's father said a gang of two on a motorbike swooped on the tea stall at around 4:30pm and picked up his son from there. Rana's mobile phone was also found switched off following the incident, he said.
