2 teenage boys murdered
A schoolboy was murdered at Baladkhal village in Sadar upazila in the district on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Bidyut Kumar Karmaker, 16, class ten student at Gangoil High School under the upazila and son of Chaitanya Karmaker of the village.
Krisna Mohon, sub inspector of police at Natore police station said, Bidyut and his friend Belal went to Abdulpur for a trip at the house of Belal's uncle on Monday morning.
They left for home in the afternoon but Bidyut went missing. Locals later found Bidyut's body in a paddy field near their residence and informed the police. Police arrested Belal Hossain, 16, from village in this connection.
Victim's father Chaitanya Karmaker filed a case with Natore police station accusing Belal and 4-5 unidentified criminals yesterday afternoon.
In Dinajpur, a teenage boy has been beaten to death in the district town.
The deceased was identified Md Alamgir Hossain, 15, son of Abu Bakkar Siddique of Kherpatti in Dinajpur Satellite Town area, reports our correspondent.
Police said, a gang of criminals mercilessly beat up the boy and left him on the roadside at Dinajpur Satellite Town on Monday afternoon.
Later the locals of the area rescued him in a critical condition and took him to Dinajpur Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injures at around 11:00am yesterday.
