Pabna school celebrates founding anniversary
Raja Chandranath and Babu Shambhunath Pilot High School yesterday kicked off a two-day function to mark its 152nd founding anniversary through various programmes.
Principal of Dhaka Notre Dame College Father Benjamin Costa, a former student of the school in Chatmohar upazila, inaugurated the celebration in the morning.
The programmes include colourful procession, memorial meeting and cultural function, said the organisers.
Old and new students brought out a procession from the school premises that paraded different streets of the upazila town.
The school was founded by Raja Chandranath and Babu Shambhunath, both landlords of the region, in 1861.
