New VC appointed
Patuakhali Science and Technology University got its new vice chancellor (VC) yesterday. The VC, Prof Shamsuddin, was earlier at Bangladesh Krishi University in Mymensingh. He replaced Prof Syed Sashakhawat Hussain whose term ended recently, said university sources.
