Two robbers held in Ctg
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-7) arrested two members of a robber gang “Baissha Bahini†at Banshkhali of Chittagong on Sunday night.
The arrestees, Mokter Ahmad,56, and Abdus Shukkur, 25, of Kutubkhali, have been handed over to police. The Rab also seized a locally-made light gun, seven machetes and two knives from them.
Acting on a tip-off that a gang of some 20 robbers gathered in Mokter's house before committing a robbery, the team raided the house. Other gang members managed to escape, said Rab sources.
