BSF kills one
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi cattle trader on Kisamot Nijzoma border in Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat district early Sunday.
The cattle trader was identified as Abdul Latif, 33, of Kisamot Nijzoma village.
Burimari BGB camp sources said the BSF personnel opened fire on Latif while he was returning home with some cattle at around 5:30am
BGB strongly condemned the killing and sent a letter to its Indian counterpart demanding return of the body.
BSF returned Latif's body to BGB at Sreerampur check post of Patgram upazila at around 8:30am yesterday.
