Cop closed for bribery in Bogra
Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bogra district closed an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Bogra Sadar Police Station on Wednesday evening.
ASI Aminul Islam demanded Tk 500 as bribe from Ashraful Islam, an engineer of Radio Today, over passport verification while he was on duty on the day at the station.
At one stage of bargaining, Ashraful's cohorts informed the SP Mozzammel Haque PPM over cellphone of the matter. Later, the SP closed him to police lines instantly.
