Abducted girl's body recovered
Police have recovered acid burnt body of a madrasa girl from 'zero point' area on Hijaldi border in Kalaroa upazila, eight months after her abduction.
The victim is Khadiza Begum Rima, 15, daughter of Golam Rasul of Goira village in Kolaroa upazila, and a class eight student of Chandarpur GR Dakhil Madrasa.
On April 7 this year, criminals abducted Rima from a road beside their house and trafficked her to India, said Rima's father Golam Rasul.
The next day, Rasul filed a case accusing Nurul Amin, Abdul Jalil, Ruhul Amin, Khalilur Rahman, Ripon and Khairul Islam.
On information from locals, police with the help of BGB men recovered Rima's body on Sunday evening.
The body bears burn injuries on the chest, abdomen and legs, said police.
